Jeff
Barber, a highly successful commercial photographer in British Columbia,
Canada for the past 20 years, has established an impressive reputation
for being able to translate a client's vision into powerful and effective
images for publication or presentation.
Jeff
has photographed numerous high-profile events for both the federal and
provincial governmentincluding official portraits of the past
three Lieutenant Governors of British Columbia, photographing the first
official ministerial delegation from South Africa, being the official
photographer for the Premier of China's visit to British Columbia, as
well as being the official photographer for the Queen's Royal Visit
during the 1994 Commonwealth Games.
Jeff
has also worked with many agencies and companies involved with the travel
industryshooting regularly for companies such as the Oak Bay Marine
Group, which has 13 resorts throughout the Pacific Northwest and Bahamas;
the British Columbia Ferry Corporation, which runs a huge passenger
ferry fleet on BC's west coast; and Clipper Navigation, which runs the
navigational passenger link between Seattle, Washington and Victoria,
BC.
As
well, Jeff has gained notoriety with his "Signature" Panorama
photography and his spectacular images have been used for many advertising
campaigns.
Jeff,
having moved to New Zealand to be close to his wife's family, is now
freelancing from Martinborough, NZ.
